Warmly welcome to the epic skibidi rizz sitzen with Digit and DaTe! The theme for this sitz is, of course, memes — so put on your best meme outfit together with your student overalls and join us for a sitz at Åbo Akademi’s premises.

The sitz will take place on October 9th at F. Doors open at 18:30 and the first song, Helan går, starts at 19:00. The sitz costs €15 (–€2 for non-alcoholic, +€2 for non-members) and is paid to DaTe’s MP 87980 with the message “memesitz + name.” The price includes a welcome drink, two snaps, punch, as well as starter, main course, and dessert. Registration opens on September 29th at 12:00 and closes on October 6th. There is room for 60 meme-sitzers. Please note that the seats are split 50/50 between DaTe and Digit, so even if you register, you may end up on the waiting list if your association’s quota is already full.

(If you have sat at a sitz at ÅA before, you can skip this part) We sitz according to ÅA’s traditions and practices, and we expect participants to be open to learning new sitz customs and traditions. All instructions and rules will be explained in more detail at the event.

The program during the sitz will be in both Swedish and Finnish, but you can always ask your tablemate for a translation if something passes you by.

Note! It is not allowed to bring your own drinks to the sitz, but instead you should bring cash. Around €20 will be more than enough for the evening and can even be shared with a friend.
