Are the tongues stretched? Have the voice and refreshments been opened? Can't wait to crack open the brand new Urho Matti 4.0 book?! The most singable sitcom of the year is back when the Q-house fills up with the Urho Matti potpourri, accompanied by the Tempositsis. 

The main agenda of these sessions is to sing Urho Matti 4.0 from cover to cover, so if you miss the classics of yesteryear, or if many of the songs are a bit more foreign to you, or if you just like to sing your heart out, then these sessions are for you. The Sitsit will be held at __Q-house on 22.4. at 17.30__ and cost a light 12 €, so that Matti would not be left out of pocket for the duration of the event. The price includes one mild, two clear and one jallu. 

The theme of the sessions is "speed", so dig out your flame pipe from the back of your cupboard and your fastest glasses from your pocket and start writing down your wish whistles! 

Registration starts on Thursday 10.4. and ends on 17.4., by then 100 of the fastest registrants will be able to get into the tempo. Please note, however, that registration is binding

Last year, these sessions took us around the world, now we are heading towards infinity and beyond! The sequels will be in the same room and will be free for the sitters, 3€ for others. The fastest ones will get a jumpsuit badge.

Do you miss primary school class parties and limudiscos too? The limbo and dance contests or the mocha bake-offs at the bazaar? This year, Teekkariwappu is organising the traditional limudisco-themed morning sausage party, so put on your finest primary school class party gear and join us at __Q-house on 19 April from 09:00-15:00__ to celebrate!
After the sits at Q, the limudiscos will continue until dawn!
The price of the session 30€ includes breakfast, lunch, session drinks, a jumpsuit badge and refreshments. 

If you can't make it to the sessions, but you're interested in a limudisco, you can join the rest for 3 euros and the first ones will get a jumpsuit token.
There will be a possibility to go to the sauna and the pool, so remember to bring a towel and a swimsuit!

Here it comes!

Digit has teamed up with Reaktor to host a mini-LAN party at Reaktor’s office right in the middle of Wappu! As the name suggests, this LAN event will be short – it kicks off at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 23rd, and wraps up in the early hours of the morning, around 4:00 AM on April 24th, lasting approximately 13 hours.

You'll need to bring your entire setup, including a PC or console, monitor, and any peripherals you find necessary. You’re also welcome to bring your own gaming chair, but it’s not required.

We’ve estimated the power consumption per setup to be around 500W, which should be plenty for gaming. However, please don’t come to the event to train AI models or solve protein structures with a high-performance computer!

The event fee includes a badge and a designated gaming spot. Additionally, Reaktor is sponsoring food and drinks, but feel free to bring your own snacks if you think you'll need extra.

There will be plenty of activities and group gaming sessions throughout the event!

Spring is coming, and do you know what that means? 

The pedals are greased, and the seats are adjusted — are you ready? Because PGP, the Pedal Car Grand Prix, is back again this year! The fastest and wildest races will take place once again at Varvintori in Turku on April 16th, 2025. The competition starts at 5:00 PM, but teams should arrive at the pit area by 4:00 PM. Prepare for thrilling pedal car racing — join this grand interdisciplinary event! The event area will close no later than 10:00 PM. 🏁 

In this event, the best drivers are lined up at the starting line to battle for the coveted first place. Digit's awesome team consists of four (4) drivers and up to six (6) pit crew members, totaling ten (10) people. Join the race that will bring our team fame and glory. 🏆 

The event ticket costs 5€ for the participants. You can however come watch the event for free and cheer Digit for victory. The ticket includes race entry, equipment for the competition, as well as the afterparty and VIP access at Night Club Marilyn. 🎉

Friday Pöhinä is a workshop-style evening focused on various programming topics. The aim is to learn something new and to get guided in creating cool projects with a group!

This time, we're diving into exploratory data analytics with Python. We'll learn what Pandas and Matplotlib are and how they can be utilized for filtering and visualizing data! The session will be led by our dear sister guild, DaTe.

It’s good to know the basics of Python, but that’s not required. The most important thing is to bring a learning mindset and remember to ask lots of questions!
