Dear members, first and foremost the new freshers and tutors, we welcome you to participate in Digit ry’s Fresher Sitz! The Sitz will be held on Wednesday, September 9th, starting at 18:00 at T-talo, at Vanha Hämeentie 29.

What on earth are Sitz?

Sitz are an academic table party and a celebration for university students where people eat, sing drinking songs, give speeches, and enjoy various activities. The purpose is to get to know new people and student culture. No worries, you don’t need to know how to sitz yet, as this evening is the perfect opportunity for first-timers to learn the secrets of Sitz.

The Sitz will cost €13 per person, and the price includes a three-course menu and two shots. Alcohol-free Sitz will cost €11, including a three-course menu and two non-alcoholic shots.

The afterparty of the Sitz will be The Fresherrave at UG Club, so put on clothes that you can comfortably rave in. Don't wear your overalls to the sitz even if you have them. Entry to the Fresherrave is paid separately at the club, and the raves cost only €3. The raves start at 22:00.

Registration starts on August 31st at 12:00 and is intended for freshmen, tutors, and board members. Registration for others is allowed from September 2nd. Registration closes on September 4th at 23:59.
