Freshman pass

The freshman pass is given to freshmen at the beginning of their studies, containing various tasks to be completed during the year. At Digit, the freshman pass is now available in digital form and can be downloaded from the app store under the name Digit ry. In exchange for a completed freshman pass, you are able to receive a teekkari cap on May Day.

The mandatory points of the freshman pass must be achieved in order to receive a teekkari cap and the title of teekkari on May Day. Additionally you can complete hobby points, and those who complete all of them will be rewarded with a superfreshman -overall badge. You can request the replacement of missing mandatory points by completing extra points.

The points do not appear in the digital pass by themselves, but by showing a personal QR code to a tutor or board member, they can add the points to your passport.

Ultimately, it is the responsibility of each freshman to remember to ask for the points on time! It's highly recommended to start collecting mandatory points during the autumn semester already, so that you're not caught off guard by the lack of points and rush in the spring!

For questions related to the freshman pass, please contact your tutor or the Digit board digit(at)utu.fi.
